and impactful. |
| Highpoints of your life
since high school? |
Easy - getting married
to the girl of my dreams - I married way up! Of course,
the amazing birth of my four kids have to make the highpoint
list. (one after 35 hours of labor - gee, was I tired!)
Beyond that, rappelling in the Rockies, skipping stones
in the Indian Ocean, snorkeling in the Keys, art museums
in Amsterdam, long walks with my beautiful wife, leisurely
times at Cedar Campus in Michigan's U.P., making appearances
on CNN and other local/national news shows, getting published,
keeping most of my hair and watching the Fighting Illini
(almost) win the national championships in hoops. Some
of the best moments, too, are watching my kids do stuff
for the first time - catch a fly ball, ride a bike, speak
Spanish...I'll tell 'ya George Bailey, it's a wonderful
life! |
| What are your memories
of high school (i.e. secret crush, embarrassing moment,
funniest thing you did in high school, favorite high school
hang out, favorite teachers)? |
Favorite Teacher
- clearly Madame Bell of French fame. All the guys had
a crush on her, but of course I simply appreciated her
intelligence, wit, and warmth :) I'll never forget long
hours in the gymnastics balcony, ditching class to go
to Wrigley, Circus Stunts performances - cramming 11 into
the Ford LTD (the BEAST from EAST) and running stop signs.
Matching wits with Mo-K-B, Dr. Spanogle and Mr. McHenry
was always entertaining. OH! and how can we forget the
sominex teaching of Ms. Donnely and the leftist indoctrination
of Radical Alice Gregory! |
